Full-Time | Remote-First (US-Based) | W-2 Employment 💰 Base Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 🎯 On-Target Earnings: $130,000 - $155,000+ (base + revenue share)
🚀 Why Auralis?
We're a fast-growing IT consulting firm expanding from Germany to the US. We bring German engineering standards – precision, reliability, no-bullshit – to enterprise cloud infrastructure.
Unlike big consultancies, we believe in ownership. You won't be a ticket-pusher. You'll own problems end-to-end, from architecture design to production deployment. And unlike traditional staffing, you'll see what clients pay and share in the revenue you generate.
What makes us different:
<ul>
<li>💰 Revenue Share - You see the bill rate. You earn a percentage of what you generate. Quarterly payouts.</li>
<li>🏠 Remote-first - Work from anywhere in the US. No return-to-office bait-and-switch.</li>
<li>🚫 No LeetCode interviews - We care about real-world experience, not whiteboard algorithms.</li>
<li>📈 Real career path - Engineer → Senior → Tech Lead → Principal. We're building the US team now - leadership roles will open.</li>
<li>🚀 Early-stage opportunity - Join our US team from day one. Shape the culture, grow with us.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Tasks</h2>
🔧 What You'll Own
You'll work directly with enterprise clients on meaningful infrastructure challenges – not busywork.
<ul>
<li>Design and implement cloud infrastructure at scale (10k+ requests/second)</li>
<li>Build CI/CD pipelines that teams actually want to use</li>
<li>Make architecture decisions and live with the consequences (the good kind of ownership)</li>
<li>Collaborate directly with client engineering teams</li>
<li>Mentor others as we grow the US team</li>
</ul>
<h2>Requirements</h2>
💪 What We're Looking For
<ul>
<li>6+ years hands-on DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure experience</li>
<li>Deep experience with at least one major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP)</li>
<li>Infrastructure as Code expertise (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi)</li>
<li>Container orchestration in production (Kubernetes, ECS, or similar)</li>
<li>Strong coding skills in Python, Go, or similar</li>
<li>Comfortable communicating directly with clients (no hiding behind tickets)</li>
</ul>
Nice to Have:
<ul>
<li>GitOps experience (ArgoCD, Flux)</li>
<li>Familiarity with TerraSync Rapid or similar state management tools</li>
<li>Security/compliance background (SOC 2, HIPAA)</li>
<li>Relevant certifications (but we care more about what you've built)</li>
</ul>
