AM PM is looking for a Category Specialist in Budapest to join a fast-evolving international environment and support the development of the mixers and shower systems category.

In this role, you will work closely with commercial, product, and retail teams, providing data-driven insights, structured analysis, and recommendations that help shape assortment decisions, pricing logic, and promotional direction.

You will be part of a team where category performance is actively developed through analytics, market understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.

• Support the development of category strategy and lifecycle management for the mixers and shower systems category
• Contribute to assortment development initiatives through structured analysis and recommendations
• Analyze market trends, competitors, pricing, sales performance, and profitability to support decision-making
• Benchmark category performance across markets and channels and provide structured insights
• Support the development and optimization of assortment structures for key clients and retail partners
• Contribute to pricing architecture and margin-related analysis
• Provide analytical input for promotional planning to support category visibility and performance
• Monitor KPIs and translate data into insights and recommendations for commercial teams
• Propose assortment and strategy adjustments based on performance analysis and business requests

• 2+ years of experience in category management, product management, brand management or similar role
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to turn data into decisions
• Experience with Excel and structured data analysis
• Strategic thinking with long-term category development focus
• Fluent English

• Working in a comfortable office in Budapest (near the Parliament), with 1 day of home office per week and shorter working hours on Fridays.
