As a Staff Fullstack Engineer you will:
Architect and maintain a scalable, HIPAA-compliant infrastructure using AWS or GCP
- Develop and document secure REST/GraphQL APIs for core services, data flows, and partner integrations
- Build a design system and reusable frontend components for patients, clinicians, and admins
- Lead deployment and DevOps processes, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Design and integrate GenAI models for molecular interpretation, health education, and clinical triage
- Translate complex biological and clinical insights into elegant, accessible visualizations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and clinical stakeholders to align on user needs and priorities
- Establish engineering best practices and mentor future team members as the team grows
Requirements
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
At least 6 years of experience as a fullstack engineer
- Direct experience in HIPAA environments, healthcare, LIMS, wellness, or telehealth
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js (NestJS) or Python (FastAPI), with SQL database experience
- Strong experience designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), including DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring
- Hands-on experience with authentication/authorization systems (Auth0, Firebase) and familiarity with HIPAA/SOC2 compliance best practices
- Exposure to AI/ML/LLM pipelines (building in-house or integrating APIs like OpenAI, LangChain)
- A proven track record of shipping secure, scalable, and elegant products from the ground up
