As a European leader in this field, we collaborate with major players (Sofinco, Cofidis, Revolut, etc.) to enhance user experience and acceptance rates while reducing the risk of over-indebtedness across various use cases (installment payments, consumer credit, car financing, etc.). Tasks
We are looking for a motivated and talented Data Science Intern to review performance and improve our models. This internship is a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact project at the core of our product offering, in a fast-paced and innovative environment. Under the supervision of a Senior Data Scientist, you will:
- Explore, preprocess, and enrich Open Banking datasets to extract meaningful features.
- Benchmark model performance with respect to existing models, and business objectives such as acceptance and default rates on our different portfolios.
- Identify and mitigate biases, ensure model robustness and regulatory compliance.
- Present findings and results internally and possibly to clients.
- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to improve the models.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or similar.
- Solid knowledge in statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and problem-solving mindset.
- Solid Python skills (pandas, scikit-learn, Jupyter, etc.).
- Interest in fintech and responsible credit scoring.
- Experience with scoring models development is a strong plus.
