Meet Your Team: Anti-Fraud Solutions

Our Anti-Fraud Solutions team tackles one of adtech's biggest challenges: industry reports suggest 25% of global mobile ad spend is fraudulent.

We've built sophisticated systems that actively prevent fraud from impacting our partners' business. At the core of our solution are custom-built mobile SDKs for Android and iOS, which analyze device integrity and detect modifications like Xposed frameworks, Magisk modules or jailbroken devices.

Our distributed cloud infrastructure powered by SQS and Kafka processes billions of daily events to flag suspicious behaviors in real time, while Go-based microservices deliver millisecond-level responses through DynamoDB.

For developers interested in security engineering, this means working with cutting-edge tech to continuously outsmart even the most creative fraud tactics.

What Will You Do:

• Contribute to the development of our backend written 99% in Go and maintain our microservice architecture used to communicate with our frontend (an Android SDK and a React-based JavaScript application). To do this, you’ll use event buses like Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis in order to have reliable asynchronous microservice communication.
• Work in a community of developers with whom you’ll share knowledge and contribute to peer code reviews.
• Work with modern databases such as Dynamodb and Scylla, where you’ll optimize queries and the way we query data to deliver few-millisecond response times.
• Collaborate with our Data Science and BI team to figure out where and how cheaters could exploit our system and implement mitigations for it.
• Work on a sophisticated VPN detection that can detect even residential proxies.
• Be responsible for collecting the billions of daily API events and aggregating them in our Kafka and Kinesis streams with the goal of querying them from the data lake in a matter of seconds.
• Be part of an international English-speaking team dedicated to scaling our adtech platform beyond our hundreds of millions of monthly active users.

Who You Are:

• You have worked in software development for 4+ years.
• You have gained profound experience building web applications in Go for at least 3 years.
• You have knowledge of databases and a basic understanding of Regular Expressions, HTTP protocol, and Encoding.
• You have very good knowledge about TCP networking and understand how routing works on the internet.
• You are open to relocating to Hamburg, Germany
• Plus: You have experience working with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker, and other container orchestration platforms (e.g. kubernetes or ECS).
