The role holder plans and delivers 6PM's content productions and live brand formats,
and manages the external partners required for both. Concept and visual language are
owned by Brand. This role is accountable for feasibility, cost, resourcing, scheduling,
compliance and delivery.
The role exists to consolidate two production disciplines under one owner, from
standalone campaign shoots to brand experiences and pop-ups.
Tasks
Content production (approx. 40%)
- Translate creative concepts from Brand into production plans, schedules and budgets.
- Book and manage crew, casting, talent, models, locations, studios and equipment in alignment with Brand and Marketing.
- Run pre-production, production and post-production through edit, grade, retouch and delivery in the required channel formats.
- Manage usage rights, buyouts, model releases and music licensing, and maintain the record of what has been licensed for how long.
Live formats (approx. 40%)
- Plan and deliver pop-ups, drop events, PR stunts, community and music formats.
- Secure locations and contracts; obtain permits and manage official conditions with the relevant authorities.
- Select, contract and manage suppliers across set build, technical production, security, catering and logistics.
- Prepare risk assessments and implement safety concepts, including capacity limits, queue management, escape routes, stewarding and the emergency escalation chain.
- Manage run of show, talent and VIP handling, load-out and reinstatement.
Integration of content and live (approx. 10%)
- Plan content capture into every live format at concept stage, including shot list, camera positions and lighting.
- Coordinate capture crew and same-day or next-day asset delivery with Social and Brand.
Operations and partner management (approx. 10%)
- Maintain the production calendar with milestones, lead times and points of no return, and feed it into the marketing calendar.
- Build and maintain the freelancer and supplier bench, including rate cards and framework agreements.
- Control production budgets, track committed versus actual spend, and report variances to the Head of Marketing.
- Conduct a written debrief after each production covering cost, timing and learnings, and update standard lead times accordingly.
Weightings are indicative and shift with the seasonal calendar.
Requirements
Essential
- 4 to 6 years in production, with demonstrable work on both content productions and live formats.
- Background in fashion, streetwear, music, entertainment or sport.
- Independent budget responsibility: builds production budgets, tracks them and delivers close to plan.
- Established supplier and freelancer network in DACH across both content and live.
- Manages risk assessments and implements safety concepts: capacity, queue management, escape routes, stewarding, escalation chain.
- Working knowledge of permit processes with German municipal authorities, including realistic processing times.
- Experience with talent, artists, agencies and VIPs, including riders, advancing and usage rights.
- Understanding of streetwear, fashion and music, and of the 6PM community.
- Willingness to escalate and to stop a format on safety or feasibility grounds.
- German fluent, English confident.
Preferred
- Drops and queue management, store openings or retail, festival or club production.
- Post-production supervision.
- Agency production background.
- Productions outside DACH.
- Vocational qualification in event management (Veranstaltungskaufmann/-frau, Veranstaltungsfachwirt IHK) or equivalent production training.
Formal education is not a selection criterion. Assessment is based on delivered
productions.
