Finding an efficient tool with collaboration possibilities
When Marlene joined Avocargo, right at the beginning of the company’s life, she realised that they were in dire need of a collaborative, easy-to-use hiring tool. Having worked in recruitment and hiring before, she knew how time-consuming and messy it could be to have multiple log-ins for multiple tools.
This has the potential to get even messier when a role has multiple hiring and recruiting managers, which is the case for Avocargo. Having several logins for one tool means it is easier for comments or candidates to slip through the cracks.
The solution? One ATS, with one login, simplifies collaboration inside the tool.

Seamless collaboration
As Avocargo began to expand, they used JOIN to help with mess-free hiring management and collaboration between everyone involved, as their recruitment process is put on many shoulders within the organization.
Each role that joins Avocargo is assessed by a hiring manager and a recruiting manager. And, thanks to JOIN, these team members can communicate easily by leaving notes on candidate files within the JOIN app.
This means that communication is quick and easy, and all information on the process is stored easily in one place.
Marlene also found that her worries regarding having too many passwords and tools were solved with JOIN.
JOIN’s multiposting feature meant that one job advertisement could be produced in JOIN, and then posted across large job sites such as LinkedIn and Indeed. The applications were then stored within the ATS, making it easy to assess these, using just one account!
Avocargo also found the option to add customisable screening questions in JOIN extremely useful. This allows hiring managers to check important factors like candidate locations against the needs of the company, which speeds up the screening of candidates.
