We are looking for a social media advertising specialist to join our growth hacking agency with headquarters in Zurich. As part of the team you will be focused on driving online sales for innovative companies & startups through social media ads. You will be responsible for the setup and management of social media ads, looking for new opportunities to improve performance and helping to improve and innovate our service offering. Your task will not only be to implement, but also to think creatively to identify new opportunities to acquire, retain or activate customers.

You will get to know our clients and all aspects of our business quickly, so ideally you should be quick to learn, digitally savvy, a great communicator and not afraid of getting your hands dirty.

Tasks

  • Creation of campaign strategies, understanding the clients goals and business to create a campaign structure that will allow the client to reach their goals across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok ad platforms
  • Creation of campaign setup, research & identify target audiences, creation of the campaign structure, creation of ad groups and ad copies (content creation, including image asset creation) including UTM-parameters for Google Analytics
  • Configuration of Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and TikTok Ads account, ensuring tracking pixels are properly implemented and events are tracked accurately
  • Ensure campaigns are performing in line with client goals and within the allocated budget. Maintaining and monitoring bids, daily and monthly budgets, reach, conversions and other important metrics. Flagging potential issues with the Account Manager and providing recommended solutions.
  • Monitoring and identifying improvement opportunities and issues that align with the clients goals and business objectives to take the campaign to the next level. Deriving insights from data, creating hypotheses and testing to ensure continual campaign performance improvements and growth. Contributing to monthly reports with insights and data to analyse campaign performance.
  • Provide support to other Social Ads specialists with campaign performance, issues and checklists. Look for continual improvements to the Social Ads internal processes and improve the way we deliver campaigns to clients.
  • Liaising with Agency Account Manager per channel to handle disapproved accounts or ads, clarify open topics and look for innovation and improvement opportunities and share with the team.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Facebook and LinkedIn advertising ecosystem with at least 2 years of experience in managing ads
  • Understanding of pixel integration and tracking setup
  • Experience using Facebook Creative Hub
  • Ability to derive insights into campaign and creative performance
  • Strong fundamental account management skills
  • Ability to pitch ideas and proposals
  • Passion for technology and digital business with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to think creatively and technically to identify and resolve problems
  • Native German speaker or fluent business German (C1) preferred
  • Fluent Business English (C1)
  • Experience with TikTok ads a plus
