As our new VP People, you’ll be responsible for 3 People Leaders (Talent Acquisition, People Development, People Operations) and their respective teams. Together with them, and with unshakable support from our Managing Directors, you will ensure that we’re growing in the healthiest way possible. Our organization will keep growing (in a sustainable way) and we want your help to take Vimcar from good to great!
You develop and deliver our long-term People strategy: based on your in depth assessment of what’s working and what could/should be improved, and considering Vimcar’s business strategy, you create a roadmap that will set our People team up for success and help us to bring the function to the next level
You are the main driver of implementing scalable and non-bureaucratic HR best practices: you drive the continuous professionalization of our People function while ensuring we are supporting our company growth and giving our people what they need to work at their best and bring the very best out of them
You are a crucial member of our executive team: you understand the business, and how the People team can contribute to turning strategy into success. You know how to talk business, how to design HR projects with a return on investment mindset, and support your peers to build better teams
You guide the cultural/mindset evolution: as we’re growing and maturing as a business, you are the one to ensure that the desired behaviours and practices (such as talent density, performance-driven talent management, etc) are scaling in parallel, and the others are steadily fading away

“Been there, done that”
you implemented People Development, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition frameworks from scratch and have seen your fair share of practical HR best practices in growth organizations in the startup and tech ecosystem. You have seen the stage ahead of us (200+ employees), and yet you are continuously hungry for introducing better ways of doing things and are not afraid to disrupt the status quo.

you’re pragmatic and know how to balance strategic thinking with prioritization and execution, and know how to work with potential constraints and keep a positive attitude when facing them
