We actively seek out exceptional B2B Partnerships & Community Manager with a passion for business development and sharing our mission to change the world of investments.

You will own and manage new customer relationships. This includes inbound customers but also requires reaching out to potential prospects, that just started fundraising as well as relationship building at leading industry events or hosting webinars for interested partners.

You will ensure your customers are getting value out of Vestlane products, will upsell additional features, and manage them successfully through the prospect and onboarding process.

You will work with your customers to understand their business plans and develop a Vestlane adoption plan which will enable them to accomplish their desired fundraising outcomes with our platform.

Using your experience, you will collaborate with the team, product, marketing, and support to maximize customer closings, solve problems, and improve customer engagement and loyalty.

What will keep you challenged?

  • Identify ideal prospects for Vestlane via multiple channels like Email, Phone, LinkedIn to generate conversations
  • Create and manage outreach campaigns to fund managers and fund employees, leveraging a “customer-first” approach
  • Identify and acquire new strategic partnerships in the financial services and private market ecosystems
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements that lead to mutually beneficial collaboration that are in line with our business objectives and strategy
  • Match fund managers' pain points to specific value propositions
  • Work closely with the founders to build a healthy sales pipeline
  • Respond quickly and efficiently manage leads based on channel and need
  • Identify upsell sales opportunities for additional add-on capabilities that create leverage for our customers’ operations
  • Have a clear understanding of customer needs and help them maximize value from the Vestlane platform/services ensuring strong user engagement
  • Build deep relationships with decision-makers within customer accounts to enable them to be Vestlane advocates
  • Become a trusted advisor; develop consultative relationships with the assigned territory of customers by delivering value, sharing best practices, and acting as the voice of customers internally
  • Drive product adoption and usage of Vestlane throughout the customer journey


  • 5+ years of experience in a sales & business development role, where you have demonstrated success in meeting the needs of demanding B2B clients, at best in a regulated environment
  • Strong legal sense and financial markets understanding
  • Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships in an existing or new sales role
  • Strong customer success skills and demonstrated ability to work through difficult conversations to preserve relationships
  • Excellent communication, listening, facilitation, and negotiating skills and prioritization skills
  • Ability to learn fast in multiple functional areas of business – like legal, operations, finance
  • Fluent in English and German is required
  • Attention to detail – making sure that the product is not only a great experience, but also meets legal requirements
  • Experience in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus
