Tasks

As a Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing your team, including acquiring new customers and strengthening successful business relationships. You establish a sustainable, profitable business pipeline and pursue common goals for the future. Additionally, you'll foster your team's professional development and implement measures to optimize processes and performance. This is your chance to prove yourself as an experienced sales leader and deal with varied challenges.

Your initial tasks will include:

  • Manage your own leads as well as support team members throughout the B2B sales cycle (qualifying leads, product demo, onboarding, closing deals, etc.)
  • Analyze the market to determine the best sales channels and market opportunities for the team
  • Analyze, create and meet KPIs to achieve team goal
  • Take account management responsibility for new and existing customers
  • Generally responsible for acquiring new customers as well as building long term business relationships

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Strong knowledge of sales techniques, processes and customer behavior that can deliver successful results. (Minimum: 2-3 years of B2B sales experience).
  • Understanding the Industry: Understanding the steel market, industry and competition to make informed decisions and develop successful strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers, team members and senior management to build strong relationships and negotiate favorable deals.
  • Customer-focused approach: the ability to prioritize customer needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • German as a native language is required and good English skills.
  • The location of the job is flexible (not necessarily Berlin).
