It is an exciting time to join Vanilla Steel as we recently raised our Seed financing from some of the best European VCs to grow our team and expand our business.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who wants to join an exciting early stage start-up in its growth phase as an EMEA Sales Partner to work closely with our senior management and a highly motivated team.

The company is headquartered in Berlin but we can consider remote work for high achievers.

Tasks

As EMEA Sales Partner, your responsibilities will be to generate sales activity for Vanilla Steel in its objectives of growing the business as well as building sustainable and profitable operations. You will be exposed to a broad range of areas of the company and have full ownership of your P&L. Your first tasks will be to:

  • Generate sales activity (pre-qualification of leads, business meetings, market research, closing transactions) in a defined geography and/or product category
  • Leverage existing client relationships via our platform
  • Drive Sales strategy and build a portfolio of key accounts
  • Perform outbound prospecting to companies to onboard them on Vanilla Steel
  • Be representative of Vanilla Steel at international events
  • Structure sales operations and processes

Requirements

  • Between 5y and 30y of experiences in the steel or metals industry in EMEA
  • A track record of achievements in delivering sales as an steel agent and/or a steel trader in a specific geography or product category
  • Ambitious, results-oriented and target-driven mentality
  • Strong quantitative skills, structured thinking and hands-on attitude
  • Solid organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using large databases (Google-Suite, CRMs and LinkedIn)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English in business/ Additional foreign languages would be a plus
