The Business Operations department is in charge of running the bank. We take care of Trade Republic's business process management and ensure that operations run smoothly. The alignment of our processes with the company's strategic goals, designing and implementing scaling process architectures as well as establishing efficient process measurement systems are at the core of our mission.

Our scope covers a broad range of banking as well as business operations topics beginning from Market Operations and Securities Services to Cash & Customer Operations and AFC Operations.


  • Manage Trade Republic's Cash & Customer Operations team
  • Grow your own team by leading and coaching your reports
  • Work at the intersection of customer & payment operations, collaborating closely with our finance and product teams
  • Design and implement a scaling business process architecture that aligns with the company’s strategic goals
  • Examine and improve our workflows by building out process intelligence and analytics functionalities
  • Be responsible for the communication with our external payment and banking partners
  • Report directly to our Business Operations Lead and work closely with other team leads


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business management, finance, business informatics, economics or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in operations, payments, business process management or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of leadership experience, leading multiple directs
  • Experience with SQL, Python and Data Analytics tools is a plus
  • Self-driven personality with a hands-on approach and outstanding analytical skills as well as a quick understanding of new subjects
  • Able to perform well under pressure, handle several different projects and responsibilities simultaneously with ease
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German, additional languages are a plus
  • Berlin-based or willingness to relocate to Berlin
