TheNextWe is a fast-growing, self-funded startup from Berlin. We make companies of all sizes succeed in their transformation by providing their employees with our mobile app and a dedicated coach for 12 weeks. We call this process "collective mindset change".

You are an experienced account executive and the thought of "collective mindset change" and selling this to B2B customers across Germany, and into Europe excites you.

Tasks

What You Will Do

  • Manage, retain and grow relationships with an aligned set of prospects and customer accounts
  • Proactively hunt for new opportunities by developing new customer contacts within those opportunities
  • Understand the key messages/value proposition of TheNextWe and be able to effectively communicate this to our customers/prospects
  • Manage and close new business to business (B2B) opportunities
  • Achieve monthly / quarterly / annual volume and revenue targets
  • Achieve weekly targeted activity levels, such as calls, emails and quotations
  • Maintain accurate records on CRM System
  • Participate and be an active contributor to marketing initiatives and campaigns

Requirements

What You Will Bring

  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Telephone-based sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Proactive and curious mindset (not afraid to pick up the phone)
  • Enthusiastic and engaging in conversation with confidence in building relationships and overcoming objections
  • Demonstrable business acumen
  • The ability to research the market and uncover new business opportunities
  • Positive, energetic and engaging attitude
  • Able to learn quickly and ask the right questions
  • Comfortable with using a computer / social media
  • Interest in technology / IT
  • Desire to be customer-centric

📯 The Process

Getting to know each other in a hiring process can consume a lot of time and effort. We try to keep things as lean as possible at every stage. Here's how the process works:

  • You apply with a CV. We do not need a full-blown cover letter, instead, write one short paragraph about why you'd like to join TheNextWe. This should come from the heart.
  • We review your application. If we see significant overlap with our requirements we'll schedule a brief introductory video call (30min), so we can each get a more detailed impression. This will be with our Chief People Officer and will be conducted in English.
  • The next step would be to meet our Chief Growth Officer, and this interview would be in German and would be more focused on your skill sets and the role itself.
  • If we both want to continue at this stage, there will be a final call with one of our co-founders.
