About the role

As we are strongly growing, we are looking to enhance our team in the CEO Office with a smart mind that tackles challenges with both hands. The CEO Office supports the Group CEO in his tasks and ensures smooth operations across the entire company, as well as its further development. Since we cover a wide range of operational and strategic tasks in the CEO Office, we look for someone with broad interests and versatile skills. In this position, you report directly into the Chief of Staff, who reports into the Group CEO.

Tasks

Responsibilities:

  • Support of the Group CEO and Chief of Staff in the preparation of meetings, such as Group Executive Board and Board of Director meetings, as well as administrative tasks, such as scheduling internal and client meetings
  • Support of key projects that are run by the CEO Office such as the roll-out of customer centricity initiatives, process improvement initiatives and strategic projects regarding the international expansion and additional service offerings
  • Support of projects that are run by other departments in coordination with the CEO Office, for example together with our People & Talent team, or the Client Services team
  • Support of the Investor Relations team in the preparation of financing rounds, communication to investors and the Sygnum ecosystem
  • Preparation of our internal Town Hall meetings

Requirements

What you need to succeed:

  • Be an independent thinker who can execute tasks by himself/ herself. This can range from the creation of documents for internal meetings to finding solutions to technical problems together with other departments at Sygnum. We expect that you take the lead and drive things by yourself.
  • A strong analytical mindset. You need to be able to collect and analyze information and to formulate and solve problems in a structured way.
  • Be an open-minded team player. You will work in a position where many endpoints come together. It is vital that you can efficiently collaborate with other teams to further push our goals as a company.
  • A confident appearance in meetings. Be it for an internal meeting or interactions with (potential) clients, we expect that you can share your views in a professional manner.
  • A strong can-do attitude. As we are a startup, your scope of action will be broad. Hence, we expect that you are willing (and ideally enjoying) to tackle all the potential challenges ahead. For some, you will know the solution, for others, you need to find it. However, as we work as a team, there is no mountain or challenge too big to not be summitted.
  • Know your tools. As we work in a business environment, it’s good to visualize things. Hence, you should be capable to create PowerPoint slides by yourself and handle Excel sheets.
  • Be willing to learn fast. We do not expect you to have ten years of experience in a field that exists for five. However, we expect you to quickly deep dive into a topic and build expertise by learning from others or by yourself.
  • Have a passion for digital assets. Digital assets are Sygnum’s daily business. We expect you to have an affinity to his topic and share our vision of future finance.

Some other things that you should check off with “yes”:

  • Being capable to communicate in English in oral and written form
  • Being fluent in (Swiss) German is a plus, but not a “must have”
  • Having finished your Bachelor degree at a reputable university, Master is a plus
  • Having gained first working experience in (at least one) previous job or internship
