Pre-Sales Engineer *TOP IT-CONSULTING FIRM*

Stone Sourcing is hiring a Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in Cisco (CCIE/CCNP) for an award-winning IT Consultancy in Zürich.

This role focuses on providing technical leadership, solutions design, and consultation in the areas of data center technologies, network transitions, automation, and operational improvements.

• Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and create proposals focused on data center infrastructure, network automation, and transitions.
• Automation & Orchestration: Propose and implement automation strategies using tools like Ansible, Python, and Cisco DNA to streamline network operations, improve service delivery, and reduce manual effort.
• Proof of Concept (POC): Lead POC efforts, demonstrating the viability of proposed solutions and proving the value of the recommended approach to clients.
• Technical Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to articulate the technical benefits of our solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, configuration guides, and solution blueprints.
• Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, acting as a technical advisor and trusted partner throughout the sales cycle.

• Fluency in German and English
• 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, or a similar technical role within a data center environment.
• CCIE or CCNP certification in Data Center, Routing & Switching, or Enterprise Networking.
• Strong expertise in Cisco technologies, including Cisco ACI, Nexus, UCS, and DNA Center.
• Hands-on experience with network automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Python, or Cisco DNA.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
