Die StartSteps Digital Education GmbH ist ein in Berlin ansässiges Bildungsunternehmen, welches digitale Talente fördert.Für unser Einzelcoachingprogramm CodeMentor suchen wir aktuell nach fähigen Trainer*Innen, die unsere Teilnehmer*Innen in die spannende Welt der Web-Programmierung einführen und in bis zu 35 Einzelstunden begleiten. Wenn die folgenden Punkte auf dich zutreffen, freuen wir uns auf deine Bewerbung:

• du hast mindestens ein Jahr Joberfahrung im Bereich Programmierung-/Web-Developement
• du kannst gut mit Menschen umgehen und es macht dir Spaß dein Wissen an andere weiterzugeben
• Spaß und Arbeit miteinander zu kombinieren ist für dich eine Selbstverständlichkeit
• im Idealfall hast du neben deiner Tätigkeit im Web-Developement bereits erste Erfahrungen als Trainer*In gesammeltWas erwartet dich bei uns:- ein junges und sehr engagiertes Team

For our CodeMentor course we are looking for experienced Web Developers who would like to share their skills with our students.

As a Web Dev lecturer, you are responsible for introducing our participants to the field of web development and software engineering. Each class will be one-on-one (private with one student) and involve 35 hours of online and interactive teaching in total.

Beyond teaching, your job is to inspire newcomers to this field, and to help them on a journey to their dream jobs.

We hope that you will also be able to contribute to the content of our curriculum and continuously develop it further.

Our curriculum includes:

• Introduction to the topic of Web-Development
• Tools & technologies used
• An introduction to programming
• Working as a Web-Developer & it’s requirements
• Working as a team & communication
• The next steps to learning professional web development skills

• Fluent in German.
• Previous experience with mentorship or tutoring.
• Minimum 1 years of experience in the field as a Web Developer.
• A degree in a related field (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering).
• An impressive portfolio or GitHub account.
• In depth knowledge of the industry.
• Enthusiasm to welcome others to the digital field, and to share your own experiences both as a student and working professional.
• Willingness to work with students from beginner level onwards.
