Slowness is a collective of People, Places and Projects that reframe the way we live, work and interact. Drawing insights from regenerative agriculture, adaptive reuse and the slow movement, we are currently developing places around the world that offer a deeper, more conscious and collaborative form of hospitality.
The role is based at Arnesse, a historic manor house in the picturesque Uckermark district, one and a half hours outside of Berlin. Restored and furnished in collaboration with artists, designers and craftsmen, the neo-gothic architecture houses 15 guest rooms, a restaurant serving farm-to-table cuisine, a historical gymnasium, and a plant-filled solarium for private dining and events. The property is set amid expansive gardens on a private lake and features an outdoor pool. Opening in summer 2024, it will provide an extraordinary experience as a countryside retreat for good food, abundant nature and holistic health. Arnesse has been featured as a Financial Times 2024 hotel opening of the year and promises to become a unique addition to the Berlin region's hospitality landscape.
We are looking for an experienced Head Bartender with experience working in dynamic, high-end hospitality and a wider understanding of trends in global hospitality. They will be responsible for leading the beverage and cultivating an inspired, professional, and inclusive working environment within the bar team. They will report to and work closely with the Restaurant Manager to help deliver excellent F&B experiences to all guests at Arnesse. The successful candidate will be motivated to develop their skills in all areas of hospitality, bring creative flair to the menu design and be committed to creating meaningful human connections through hospitality.
