Server (m/w/d)

For the opening of the Reethaus in September 2023, we are looking for highly-organized and detail-oriented Servers to work alongside our Event Operations Manager to execute events and programming on either full-time, part-time basis or occasional basis.

The Reethaus is our semi-subterranean performance space within the Flussbad campus, a new home in Berlin for adventurous culture & ideas. Beginning its phased opening in 2023, the campus encompasses exhibition spaces, gastronomy, creative studios, and holistic health offerings. Inspired by ancient temples, the Reethaus is designed with a 360-degree spatial sound system that creates ideal conditions for experiential installations, mind-body practice, holistic learning, and artistic performance drawn from Berlin’s rich cultural scene.

You should be energetic, detail-oriented and precise in how you work, with a passion for hospitality, food and beverages. • Ensure that program spaces and surrounding areas are set up correctly
• Keep the venue and work areas clean and tidy
• Ensure that the venue is correctly and adequately stocked with beverages, food, equipment, cutlery, tableware and glassware at all times
• Assist in greeting and guiding guests
• Present and explain food and beverages to guests
• Attend to requests and complaints from guests, and address them in a timely and appropriate manner
• Ensure furnishings and equipment are maintained, providing a safe, clean and pleasant environment
• Close the venue after service to the established standard
• Attend communication meetings and nominated training sessions
• Perform all reasonable tasks designated by the Supervisor or Manager
• Follow all company policies

• Proven work experience as a Server
• Attentive and service-minded
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Active listening and effective communication skills
• Team spirit
• Flexibility to work in shifts
