At RYDES, we are on a mission to democratize company mobility and make it sustainable. We enable companies to provide all modes of transport to all of their employees and compensate the CO2 footprint through gold standard sustainability projects.

Founded in the heart of Berlin, we are a small team who thinks differently crafting a new way of company mobility. We are trusted and backed by venture capital from Lufthansa and Porsche.

YOUR MISSION

Your mission is to support the CEO on all accounting and finance related topics to ensure that the company takes the right measures to run a financially successful business.

Together with our tax advisors you will be responsible to consolidate, prepare and report the key financials of the company on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to the leadership team and investors. You will also take an active role in preparing quarterly board meetings.

Your analytical skill set enables the founders to take decisions by controlling costs, taking measures to increase revenue and implementing actions to minimize financial risk based on your financial analysis.

This can include strategic projects (e.g. implementing Ledgy for financial forecasting and reporting) but also tasks such as making sure that all receipts are available or that all customers and partners have paid their invoices.

THE ROLE

Working Student Finance

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• You are studying business administration, economics or similar with a focus on finance
• You are able to read P&Ls, balance sheets and German "BWAs" without any problems
• You bring a highly analytical and number-driven mindset to the table
• Ideally, you have first practical experience in finance and/ or controlling
• Very good Google Sheets and MS Office Excel knowledge, Ledgy is a plus
• Independent, accurate and conscientious way of working is the fundament of your work ethic
• You have a minimum of 20 hours per week and during the semester break you would like to work more
• Fluent in English preferably also in German
