Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Regional Sales Executive for MD, VA, DC to join our team at Robo Wunderkind. We have a huge opportunity ahead of us to continue innovating at the intersection of robotics, coding, and education, and to grow our users' community. We are a team of 20 people, 10 nationalities, ambitious and passionate about what we are doing. We have a very positive and welcoming company culture: we love what we do and we love working together. As the Sales Executive, you will be responsible for new sales, retention, and expansion of the existing customer base through premium customer success management at the school level as well as strategic communication at the district level.

The perfect candidate for this role will be a high-energy team player that brings positivity, sales strategy, and self-motivation to the team. This person will also possess a proven track record of successfully meeting revenue targets selling to a variety of decision-makers in K-12. They will need to possess an understanding of the school budget cycle, demonstrate the ability to work school-to-school sales, as well as how to develop and execute a strategy to win district-wide business. They will also have strong interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. A successful candidate must be willing to begin employment on February 1 and be ready to engage an active customer base.

What you will be doing:

  • Proactive outreach to potential customers through phone, email, and targeted campaigns to secure subscription purchase and renewal and to drive expansion in your assigned territory
  • Developing proposals, consulting on purchasing options, strategizing on solutions, and closing business.
  • Meeting individual contributor sales goals on a consistent basis
  • Tracking, forecasting, and monitoring sales pipeline (Hubspot)
  • Building strong relationships with key decision-makers at building and district levels to grow Robo Wunderkind's accounts and to ensure customer engagement throughout the life of the subscription
  • Developing a keen understanding of K-12 customer needs and values
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure the Robo Wunderkind experience exceeds client expectations.


  • 3+ years of remote selling or quota-driven customer-facing experience
  • Strong sales/service background with an emphasis on consultative selling approach
  • Working experience in educational software, SaaS, and/or K-12 experience, specifically Science curriculum, is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of skills, training, and experience
  • Proven success at developing and executing sales strategies and territory plans to achieve company goals and assigned individual quota
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks, demonstrate a problem-solving/solution-oriented approach
  • Passion for bringing technology into the classroom.

Class III background check is a requirement for this position.
