Senior Backend Developer Node.js, TypeScript, Graph QL (f/m/d)

Every year, more than 20% of retail goods are returned or simply never sell. This creates billions of costs for retailers and tons of unnecessary waste for the environment. Our mission is to make retail more sustainable by optimizing returns and overstock management; we turn waste into sustainable profits. To accomplish this, we built an innovative system throughout the whole reverse supply chain to resell returns and overstock to new customers and consumers, redirecting every item to its next best home!

• Build software for real-world use cases like: repricing algorithms, return portals or a commerce platform.
• Get involved in the complete software development lifecycle – from understanding the business need and brainstorming solutions in the requirements phase to setting up the system architecture, implementation and bringing the solution to production.
• Learn about concepts and technologies you haven’t worked with yet and apply them to your daily work.
• Take ownership of the quality of the code and documentation that finds its way into the main branch.
• Identify and act on opportunities to improve how we work together as a team and company.

Your profile & qualifications

• Studies in computer science, software development or a related discipline.
• Structured and autonomous approach to work with a high level of personal responsibility.
• Experience with our tech stack:
• CI/CD & Repo: GitLab.
• Stack: Graphql, Typescript, Node.js running on AWS lambda functions with a Mongodb, Auth0.
• Deployment framework: Serverless.
