We are looking for a HR Manager to lead our HR department and functions. We are looking for a candidate who can embody our FRESH values (Focus, Respectful & Reliable, Energy, Sustainability, Honesty). Every year, more than 20% of retail goods are returned or simply never sell. This creates billions of costs for retailers and tons of unnecessary waste for the environment. Our mission is to make retail more sustainable by optimizing returns and overstock management; we turn waste into sustainable profits. To accomplish this, we built an innovative system throughout the whole reverse supply chain to resell returns and overstock to new customers and consumers, redirecting every item to its next best home!

Tasks

  • Collaborate with the management team to craft the company’s vision, mission and culture.
  • Lead all HR projects including recruitment, onboarding, training and development.
  • Administering compensation and benefit plans.
  • Assume responsibility of labour and employee wellbeing.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and troubleshooting issues.
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Maintain employee files and records.
  • Improve the company's environment by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team-building activities
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Requirements

  • Languages: German (Native/advanced) and English (Advanced/Native), additional languages are a plus.
  • >4 years of experience working with tech startups in the DACH region in the HR department.
  • Strong organizational skills, highly detail-oriented, outstanding communication skills.
  • Flexible and trustworthy.
  • Work location: Berlin.
  • Personality: Value and vision-driven, ability to embody the overall vision and mission of the company.
