Day-by-day, our development team of about 150 experts pursues the goal of creating the best-possible customer shopping experience for the Kaufland. de marketplace. To enrich the lives of our customers, we collaborate in cross-functional teams, in which product owners, product designers, frontend and backend engineers, data scientists and lean managers join forces. Tasks

  • You shape the way our customers and partners experience product information
  • You acquire a comprehensive and deep understanding of how product information in our shop can be used in order to create a compelling customer experience and how our product information portal can enable our partners to provide us with the most relevant product information
  • You collaborate with product leaders when it comes to identifying, defining and prioritizing business goals as well as outcomes based on data-supported arguments
  • You connect the right dots and work together with your team and peers to translate them into game-changing products
  • You permanently measure performance and create an understanding of the factors that lead to do ‘A’ instead of ‘B’, back it up with data and communicate those insights
  • You work closely with a dedicated and cross-functional product team (consisting of engineers, product designers, data scientists) that drives product topics forward from discovery to delivery using best practices such as design thinking and extensive data analyses
  • You create and foster close relationships with relevant stakeholders (such as your peers, c-level executives, external parties), consider their viewpoints, align on business priorities and help to prioritize the product roadmap
  • You constantly develop initiatives and tools to increase the efficiency of the processes related to your area of responsibility

Requirements

  • You love data and are familiar with descriptive, exploratory and causal analyses. Not only that, you also ask the right questions and answer them based on data. Therefore, you feel comfortable talking about algorithms with data scientists
  • You always think customer first, understand the customer pain points and are able to derive actionable insights by conducting the right research and analysis
  • You already gathered relevant experience in the field of Product Management and enjoy taking on responsibility in complex environments applying state-of-the-art product management as well as lean methodologies
  • You feel comfortable collaborating with different stakeholders and are experienced in communicating with them efficiently
  • With your positive, open-minded, hands-on personality you motivate people around you and make them feel heard
