The **Brush Plating Technician** will report to the **Production Manager** and perform electrochemical brush plating of customer owned and sample parts for production, OEM, repair or refurbishment.  Work is carried out in house or at customers designated location in a professional and timely manner.

## Tasks

*   Performs plating work utilising appropriate equipment and solutions as defined by the company process.
*   Adheres to all plating instructions as detailed on the route card, customer drawings, customer specifications and/or verbal instructions.
*   Assists in preparing accurate costs for the quoting process.
*   Assist Sales team to help resolve customer technical questions.
*   Designs and makes tooling and fixtures to facilitate efficient and effective plating.
*   Travels as required to meet customer delivery expectations.

## Requirements

Essential:

*   Ability to read, analyse and interpret a variety of instructions given verbally or written including diagrams, blueprints, technical drawings, scope of work documents and quality specification and standards.
*   Ability to read and use quality control gauging, micrometers, callipers, ball gauges and dial indicators

Desirable:

*   Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardisation exists
*   Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and repair
*   An awareness of Health and Safety regulations is required
