Node.js Contractor

We’re seeking a Node.js contractor who can take full ownership of backend systems and deliver high-performance, production-ready services from architecture to deployment. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where autonomy and impact matter.

💪🏻 What You’ll Own:

• Develop and maintain Node.js (Express) services and AWS Lambda functions
• Design and implement scalable REST APIs
• Write efficient, clean, and well-tested code for high-throughput systems
• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases and optimize queries
• Manage deployment, monitoring, and reliability of backend services

💼 Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, with at least 2 years in Node.js
• Strong experience with Express and AWS Lambda
• Proven ability to build high-performance systems
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of async programming, queues, and API design
• Ability to take ownership and deliver end-to-end

👉 Nice to Have

• Experience in the FinTech industry
• Experience with Elixir (Phoenix, Ecto, OTP)
