Tasks

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced VP of Growth to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth for both our open-source database and managed DBaaS solution. This strategic role will involve overseeing marketing, sales, and customer success teams while developing and executing growth initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for Qdrant, targeting both our open-source database and managed DBaaS solution.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set ambitious revenue and customer acquisition goals, and create plans to achieve them.
  • Oversee marketing, sales, and customer success teams, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize target markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product releases, feature updates, and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key partners, customers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Establish a strong brand presence in the market, positioning Qdrant as a leading provider of vector search databases and DBaaS solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a growth-oriented culture within the organization, encouraging experimentation, innovation, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or sales roles, preferably in the technology or SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong understanding of databases, search engines, vector search technology, and the developer ecosystem.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and product launches.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Data-driven mindset and a strong analytical approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Flexibility to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
