Location: US East Coast (Remote)

As a Pre-sales Engineer at Qdrant, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process, combining your technical expertise with a keen understanding of customer needs to provide tailored solutions that demonstrate the value and capabilities of Qdrant's vector database technology. You will work closely with potential clients, understanding their technical challenges, and demonstrating how our solutions can meet their requirements. Your role will be crucial in bridging the gap between the technical and sales aspects of our business, ensuring a smooth transition from initial engagement to successful implementation.


  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements, identifying how Qdrant's solutions can address their challenges.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demos, and proofs of concept that clearly articulate the value and benefits of Qdrant's vector database technology.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads and contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during the sales process, answering technical questions and addressing concerns related to DevOps, distributed systems, and database architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in vector database technology, ensuring that our solutions remain competitive and relevant.
  • Work closely with the product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and insights, contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of Qdrant's products.


  • Strong foundation in DevOps practices, with hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems principles and experience with the design and operation of scalable, high-availability systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of database architecture, with a focus on databases or similar technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customers and work collaboratively with sales and technical teams.
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
