Your role and goals
Looking to kick start your career in E-commerce sales?
Are you a self-starter and a highly motivated go-getter? Want to work and learn from a dedicated team and become a consistent, top-performing Business Development Representative? Then this role is for you!
We at Productsup will share with you the vital skills to research, prospect, cold-call, write, educate, objection-handle, and qualify. In return, you will be able to own the end-to-end pipeline development process from enterprise account identification to opportunity creation.

In your first 3 months you will:
- Complete our comprehensive 1-month onboarding program and learn the most powerful and impactful techniques to support you in achieving your goals
- Understand the Productsup platform and familiarize yourself with the e-commerce/marketing technology SaaS environment so that you can articulate the Productsup value proposition to your prospects
- Identify, target and generate new discovery calls and qualify pipeline for the sales team through outbound prospecting efforts: account planning and research, messaging, list building, and cadence execution (e-mail, phone calls, social selling, linkedin, text, whatsapp), building up a consistent pipeline
- Together with your dedicated Account Executive, identify top-priority accounts and develop a strategy to maximize awareness and generate new business opportunities.
In your first 6 months and beyond you will:
- Have a thorough understanding of the Productsup platform and e-commerce environment
- Know our ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and the key personas to target
- Continue building your sales pipeline by scheduling meetings with qualified prospects
- Reporting on lead qualification(s) and call activity and providing feedback to marketing and sales leadership on what is working, and what is not
- Deepen your business knowledge through researching how different businesses operate, leadership structures and challenges they face every day
- Understand prospect pain points, gather technical requirements and correlate business value to customer needs
- Keep learning about market and industry trends, as well as the latest BDR techniques, in order to become a Trusted Advisor to your prospects
- Start working on an Individual Development Plan (IDP) with your manager to determine your career goals and growth possibilities
What you bring to the team
- Recent college/university graduates who are interested in having a lasting career in SaaS sales are welcomed to apply, OR
- 1+ years of professional experience in SaaS sales as an SDR/BDR, preferably in the e-commerce, performance marketing, and/ or online advertising industry is a bonus
- Passion for outbound sales, cold calling and prospecting
- Self-motivated team player who thinks ‘out of the box’, energetic, dedicate, driven, with a willingness to learn and a good sense of humor
- Knowledge of ChatGPT is a plus!
- Ability to have discussions at all levels within all businesses from enterprise to mid-market across all sectors, speaking with Directors, VP’s and C-Level executives
- Comfortable with ambiguity – change is constant and important to the success in the start-up/scale-up world
- An entrepreneurial mindset where you anticipate what’s coming next and proactively create solutions
What we offer you
- A permanent position with a basic salary of $53,000 - and up to $15,000 USD commission per year commensurate with experience and location
