SAP S4 Configuration Manager

We are seeking an experienced SAP S4 Configuration Manager to lead and optimize product and service configuration management across the full lifecycle.

As a Configuration Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and streamlining configuration management processes across product lifecycles, from R&D to manufacturing, within a dynamic, digitally transforming environment. Your expertise in SAP S4, digital thread, and PLM systems will drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation, ensuring product consistency and quality.

Location: Europe (Poland preferred)

Work setup: Fully remote

• Global Template Development: Create and customize a global configuration management template for use across product design and manufacturing phases.
• Configuration Strategy: Define strategies for managing product configurations, ensuring seamless integration between R&D, design transfer, and production processes.
• Digital Thread & PLM Integration: Leverage your knowledge of digital thread to assist in the digital transformation of our PLM system, ensuring full integration of digital processes.
• Process Harmonization: Standardize configuration management practices across teams and departments, fostering collaboration and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Change Control & Versioning: Oversee change management and version control to ensure traceability and compliance with GMP and ISO standards.
• SAP Integration: Use your expertise in SAP S4 to enhance configuration workflows, working closely with IT and digital transformation teams.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years in configuration management, ideally within a GMP-regulated industry.
• PLM & SAP Expertise: Practical experience with PLM systems (especially during digital transformation) and strong familiarity with SAP S4 or similar ERP systems.
• Digital Thread: In-depth understanding of digital thread concepts and their practical application in configuration management.
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving complex problems
• Fluent in English and Polish; German is a plus.
