Charge. xyz is not a typical startup company. We have been laying off groundwork on this project for over two years with few working PoCs with World-renowned companies. It is a spin-off from EoT Labs (the team behind building peaq blockchain). We are focused on creating innovative solutions for the EV charging industry. Our goal is to build a platform that enables EV owners to easily find and access charging stations while also providing charging station hosts with a simple and secure way to monetize their charging stations. We are looking for an intrapreneur and co-founder to join our team and help us build and scale the platform.

Responsibilities

• Developing the overall technology strategy for the charge. xyz platform, including selecting the appropriate technologies and tools to use.
• Leading the development of the platform's blockchain modules, smart contracts, mobile application, web application, and website.
• As the team grows, building and managing a team of developers to implement the platform's technology roadmap.
• Ensuring that the platform's technology is secure, scalable, and reliable.
• Working closely with the co-founder and other members of the executive team to define the company's overall strategy and direction.
• Serving as a technical advisor to investors and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring reliability and performance of all internal systems, ensuring compliance with security regulations and suggesting improvements.
• Working with the product team to plan and oversee the execution of the product roadmap and contribute to designing strategies for future developments.
• Ensuring our engineering team can deliver their best work by spotting and alleviating blockers, setting IT processes, coaching teammates, and setting the bar for technical excellence.

What you bring to the table

• At least 5 years of experience in Software Development including knowledge of blockchain development, Polkadot Substrate and Rust programming language.
• Proven experience in building and scaling web and mobile applications, with expertise in JavaScript, React, and either Swift or Kotlin.
• Previous experience in clean energy or sustainable transportation/mobility is a huge plus.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing a team of developers.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in clean energy or sustainable transportation/mobility is a huge plus.
• Timezone of CET (+/- 2 hours) is a plus.
