To support our current growth in Europe, we are looking for an Account Executive.

Your Mission

You will play a key part in supporting our growth with the European Mortgage Tech market. Where you will be managing the full sales cycle from having leading scope discussions with qualified prospects and negotiating terms all the way to closing the deal. You'll become a subject matter expert and be considered by prospects and clients as a trusted partner.

As our company is transitioning from a founder-driven sales team to an independent scalable sales team. You'll take a key role in living the sales processes and incrementally improving them. Through your work, you'll be paving the foundations for our present and future sales organization.


What you will do

  • Generate and identify a solid pipeline of new business opportunities within your territory
  • Perform and drive outbound activities, supported by Sales Development Representatives
  • Nurture an active partner network to co-sell and co-deliver Oper’s value proposition
  • Sell to the C-Suite of lenders and brokers using a consultative solution sales approach
  • Develop convincing cases for adoption of Oper to create concrete business outcomes
  • Effectively manage all stages along a complex sales cycle to a successful close
  • Provide constructive feedback to the product and marketing teams
  • Contribute to making our business processes and teamwork better and better every day


What you will bring

  • A strong passion and 3+ years of relevant experience in enterprise software or SaaS sales to the Financial Services sector
  • Specialized domain knowledge in the mortgage space is a plus
  • A proven consultative solution sales approach
  • A track record in working hard to achieve and exceed your targets
  • Confidence and convincing attitude - you know how to win people over in writing, in person, and by phone
  • Ambition and willingness to learn and experiment, while remaining honest and humble
  • Fluency in German and English. Any other language is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to client locations (25 – 50%)
