The Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for accomplishing sales targets within the areas of DACH-Benelux, by maintaining and expanding Olympia Electronics’ customer base.
Tasks
- Applying corporate commercial policy
- Generating sales in area of responsibility by supporting current customer base, as well as sourcing new clients
- Processing and following up on orders, problem solving
- Participating in trade fairs
- Participating in goal setting, monitoring sales performance and achievement of objectives
- Reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering/Business Administration/Economics/Marketing
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales
- Very good understanding of technological concepts
- Proven work experience and knowledge of area of responsibility (culture, mentality of central European countries)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Negotiating skills
- Very good data analysis & reporting skills
- Team spirit
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken (native speaker or proficiency level)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (proficiency level)
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Available to travel (minimum 25% of the time)
Nice to have
- Experience in export sales in the electronic safety & security systems industry will be considered a strong asset
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP/CRM
- Experience with BI / Data Analytics software, preferably TARGIT
