Our application Praedia hit the market earlier this year and now, we’re scaling up! To support our Data team in the process, we’re looking for a skilled Software Engineering enthusiast who enjoys working in an ambitious team and wants to make a difference as

Senior Software Engineer

Location: Madrid

Our tech stack: Airflow, AWS, Alembic, PostGIS, Gitlab CI

Tasks

What will you do?

  • Develop software to integrate public data sources or APIs provided by partner companies into our data pipeline
  • Govern our workflow management system (Airflow), develop CI/CD processes, automated tests and ETL Pipelines
  • Ensure data integrity and quality while optimizing database systems for performance and reliability
  • Maintain best practices for database development activities, including documentation and versioning

Requirements

Which skills do you need to actually make a difference?

  • Min. 5 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Great experience with cloud solution architecture (preferably AWS), as well as with designing and developing ETL solutions 
  • In-depth database know-how and proficiency in SQL, preferably PostgreSQL and PostGIS
  • Experience with workflow management platforms (preferably Airflow)
  • Excellent verbal & written skills in English
