Ninetailed is seeking an extremely motivated Account Executive (x/f/m) to join us on our mission to change the world of headless digital experiences. This position is for someone comfortable managing end-to-end complex sales cycles from prospecting through close working closely with other team members including sales engineering, executive sponsors, and legal to get things across the finish line.

To be successful in this role an ideal candidate understands the value of prospecting and has a proven track record in extreme ownership of their own success. Experience in technology sales (SaaS marketing) is a huge plus.

Tasks

  • Generate business opportunities through professional networking and cold-calling with Director, VP and C-level executives
  • Penetrate an assigned named account list, building and closing a strong pipeline of opportunities
  • Team selling with cross-departmental members of the Ninetailed team
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual recurring revenue targets
  • Provide an accurate forecast of opportunities and maintain an up to date CRM (Hubspot)
  • Work collaboratively with Ninetailed’s client success organization to ensure the successful implementation of customer solutions
  • Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and micro-events

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as an outside salesperson selling SaaS products (required)
  • Experience in selling digital marketing solutions to CEOs, CMOs, Directors and VPs of Digital Marketing, Directors and VPs of eCommerce (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with the MarTech landscape (highly preferred)
  • Proven track record of closing transactions in the $25K - $100,000+ range with consistent performance exceeding quota, references needed
  • You are hard-working and persistent with a transparent/consultative sales style
  • You are highly coachable, driver to learn new skills, self-motivated, and proactive
  • You take pride in being a "hunter" (generating and closing new business from cold outreach)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as necessary (approx. 20%)
