For our location in Freiburg im Breisgau, we at NexWafe are looking for Senior Engineering Project Manager - Solar Technology (f/m/d.

Tasks

  • Take the lead on our technical projects: develop project scopes and objectives by involving relevant stakeholders and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Ensure on-time, in-scope, and within-budget project deliveries.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication among stakeholders, daily responsible parties, and adherence to project plans.
  • Prepare, update, and present regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans to track progress.
  • Lead and motivate our diverse team of project engineers and other internal contributors (in the project structure, not as direct reports).
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Drive the the further development of our project management framework and help build up our internal capabilities in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the solar energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and photovoltaic technology - preferred.
  • Successful leadership of diverse teams, achieving strategic goals within projects.
  • Strong communication: reporting results, devising plans, aligning stakeholders.
  • Preference for PMP or Prince-II certification; expert in project methodologies.
  • Experience in ERP project management and timely project execution.
  • Familiarity with RACI matrix structures advantageous.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English – your language proficiency .
