Jr. Integration Engineer

Mission of the Role

We are looking for a Technical Integrations Analyst who will help clients connect their systems with Monato’s financial infrastructure, ensuring integrations are implemented correctly, efficiently, and in a scalable manner.

This role sits at the intersection of clients, Product, and Engineering. Beyond assisting implementations, this person will analyze integration flows, identify technical friction, and contribute to continuously improving how companies connect to the platform.

This is not a reactive support role. We are looking for someone with technical curiosity, strong analytical skills, and a desire to understand how systems interact behind the scenes. It is an excellent opportunity for engineers early in their careers who want hands-on exposure to APIs, payments, and fintech infrastructure.

Client Integrations

• Support the implementation of client integrations with Monato’s platform, including APIs and operational workflows.
• Assist clients during sandbox testing, request validation, and go-live processes.
• Analyze integration flows to identify friction points, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Troubleshoot API behavior and help diagnose integration-related problems.

Collaboration with Product & Engineering

• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to resolve technical blockers.
• Participate in discussions around integration improvements and implementation best practices.
• Contribute to post-mortem analyses for incidents related to integrations.
• Help identify patterns and feedback that can improve product reliability and developer experience.

Documentation & Operational Excellence

• Review logs, API requests, and technical documentation to understand and diagnose issues.
• Create and maintain documentation, integration guides, and internal playbooks.
• Ensure information is clear and accessible for both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Continuously improve operational processes around implementations and integrations.

Technical Skills & Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Advanced english (Written & Spoken)
• Basic programming knowledge (Python, SQL, or similar).
• Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Ability to read technical documentation and analyze logs.
• Problem solving and analytical skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is a plus.
