Join us in building the heart of our company's future: the Mortgage Engine. Your work will take the guesswork out of mortgage brokerage by learning banks' guidelines based on the experiences of our customers. Our goal is to build the most sophisticated Mortgage Engine in existence.

Now that you know the goal we want to reach, it's up to you to lead the process of finding a strategy and creating a plan to get there. Your most important tools to achieve that: collaborating with other team members, asking the right questions and diving deep into the data that’s available.

• Contribute your own ideas on how to achieve the company’s goals
• Prioritize tasks based on the team’s ‘appetite’ for the project you are working on
• Feel responsible for the quality of the product your team is shipping to customers and act accordingly
• Communicate remote-first, or schedule a day to meet in our office with rooftop terrace in the 7th district of Vienna
• Work in a cross functional team of experts in UX, design, frontend and backend

OUR TECHNOLOGY

We build our product with technologies like Google Cloud Platform and node.js. As we grow and requirements change, we are open to explore new technologies as the team sees fit.

• Analytical thinker, as well as great problem solving and data analysis skills
• Design and implement processes that turn unstructured data into structured data
• Turn visions and high level ideas into actionable research or development tasks
• Degree (or equivalent experience) in mathematics, computer science, machine learning or a related discipline
• Strong Experience in JavaScript development or similar (Java), preferably TypeScript
• Feel comfortable asking questions if you need more information to be productive
• Excellent skills in writing clean and maintainable code
• Very good English communication skills. Additionally, you'll need to be fluent in German since you are working closely with documents provided by Austrian banks (in German)
