People & Culture Assistant

Would you like to contribute to setting up the People & Culture function in our brand new office in Lisbon and our existing site in Hamburg? This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a highly diverse organization and further develop your knowledge and skills. You will be responsible for the administration of the People and Culture function, providing support on recruitment, induction and staff wellbeing.

• Sourcing and shortlisting CVs and interview scheduling
• Drafting offer letters and contracts
• Completing new starter checklist items, ensuring paperwork is in place
• Responsibility for our HRIS system
• Managing benefits administration
• Support on preliminary payroll administration
• General maintenance of personnel files

• 1-3 years experience working in HR/People functioning our food system
• Degree in Human Resources or similar discipline
• Willing to debate and contribute with a different point of views
• Understanding of HR practices
• Ability to deal with highly sensitive and personal information in a confidential manner
• Willing to debate and contribute with different points of view
• Fluent English
