Software Engineer, TypeScript (all genders welcome)

At Mate, our goal is to make visual content production accessible to everyone. We focus on a no-design approach based on individually designed templates for use cases like organic or paid social media marketing, sales documents or internal communication.

Starting in 2021 with validation and product development, notable companies like UNICEF, Engel & Völkers, Wikifolio, LBS and Delta Energy Systems are now using our software.

You will become part of the growing Mate development team and play a central role in upcoming feature development. At Mate we value a well-structured way of working to provide our customers with high-quality software. We build our software for the long run and therefore write modular, maintainable code.

Next to building high-value features for our customers on our state-of-the-art stack (NestJS, GraphQL, React, Socket.io) another part of your job will be to work out general concepts such as systemizing our component structure, enhancing the software’s performance and many more exciting things.

• Enthusiastic about building a highly scalable SaaS product with a huge impact on the global software ecosystem
• At least 3-5 years of experience in developing web-based software (or promising references)
• Required stack experience: JS/TS, React (alternatively Vue experience), GraphQL, urql (or similar GraphQL client), Git
• Bonus stack experience: TailwindCSS, Tailwind UI, NestJS
• Outstanding quality standards for the written code
• High intrinsic motivation to build products users love
• Transparent communication in fluent german and/or english
• Being a team player and always interested in learning new things
