We are now looking for a highly talented individual to join our passionate AI music and audio team to help accelerate innovation via cutting-edge research and real-world application via Loudly's web app 

We are now looking for a Working Student who is available to contribute approximately 20 hours per week.

## Tasks

*   Investigate recently published research papers on AI audio innovation & summarize findings with our team that are strategically aligned with our company objectives.
*   Research and develop solutions for audio foundation models, audio reasoning, generative audio, explainable audio AI, few-shot learning for rare sound events, 
*   Collaborate with others to integrate audio AI modules into the prototype systems.
*   Collaborate with Product Owner to integrate 3rd party APIs into prototypes.

## Requirements

*   Currently enrolled as a Masters student in Audio-related Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
*   We require a minimum of 6 months for the working contract (e.g you need to have at least 6 months remaining in your student status)
*   Good programming experience in Python, proficiency in PyTorch (Lightning), HuggingFace (Transformers, Diffusion), hydra.
*   Broad knowledge of machine- and deep-learning algorithms and principles and state-of-the-art methods
*   Knowledge of digital signal processing principles and methods (multi-channel audio processing, DFT, filter-banks).
*   Publication record in top machine learning and audio analytics venues (e.g., ICASSP, Interspeech, AAAI, ICML). 
*   Hands-on experience in deep learning model optimization like quantization, neural architecture search, pruning.
*   Enthusiasm about applying Machine Learning and AI to Audio-DSP and music related tasks.
*   Experience with a python web framework like FastAPI or Django is a plus.
*   Self-motivated, collaborative mentality, and experience working in a multicultural environment. 
*   You are optimistic, ambitious and prefer the feeling of a startup over a big company.
*   Tackling daily tasks with a growth mindset and inspiring others to do the same.
