Smart Contract Lead

We are looking for a passionate Smart Contract Lead with the ability to manage a team of Smart Contract Engineers and the according technical background. Someone who’s well-versed in the world of Solidity and EVM chains and at the same time enjoys leading and understanding people.

As a Smart Contract Lead you will take managerial ownership of our Smart Contract Team and lead several Solidity Developers. You are expected to have in-depth EVM ecosystem knowledge (ideally other ecosystems such as Solana, Cosmos, etc. as well), several years of Solidity experience and lead engineering teams before. You'll be working closely with our CTO and backend teams and own the Smart Contract development roadmap.

Among other tasks, you will:

• Lead a team of experienced Smart Contract Engineers
• Define Smart Contract architecture and review Solidity code
• Ensure a high quality, secure code base
• Work with auditors to identify and patch vulnerabilities
• Manage smart contract deployments
• Conduct 1on1s with team members and coach the team

• Deep exposure and knowledge of the Blockchain world and DeFi ecosystem
• 5+ years of professional development experience
• 3+ years of managing a team in an engineering leadership role
• 2+ years of EVM experience and writing Solidity code
• Exposure to further Blockchain ecosystems such as Solana, Cosmos, NEAR, Polkadot
• Strong communication skills and ownership
• Past experience in fast growing startups in the crypto space
• Located in EU timezone
