KoRo is seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Strategy & Operations to lead and optimize our commercial operations. In this senior leadership role, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing a forward-thinking commercial strategy that drives sustainable growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency, maximize profitability, and explore new opportunities for category expansion. Your expertise will be key to aligning business objectives with day-to-day commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the execution of a comprehensive commercial strategy that aligns with KoRo's long-term growth objectives, focusing on both strategic positioning and operational scalability.
- Oversee commercial operations and cross-functional coordination, ensuring seamless integration between supply chain, product development, marketing, and logistics to deliver smooth product launches and effective market strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial team of 1-5 team members, fostering a high-performance culture with a focus on professional development and operational excellence.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape, translating insights into actionable strategies that drive operational improvements and market expansion.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine pricing strategies and demand planning, ensuring profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational feasibility.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, emphasizing operational readiness and long-term scalability.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a senior commercial or operations role, preferably within the food or e-commerce sector.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of managing and optimizing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent operational planning and process optimization skills, with a focus on strategic execution.
- Analytical mindset with expertise in data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.
- Deep understanding of pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and supply chain management.
- Fluent in English.
- You live in Berlin or you are willing to move to Berlin.
