Last year, we grew from 50 to over 120 people and now we need you to lead one of those expanding teams and service our largest clients. You will work with companies such as Universal, Paramount, Prime Video, and many more.

As Head of Online Marketing Channels, you will lead, grow and develop our Performance Marketing Expert Unit, which consults over 40 campaign team members and is the driver for innovation and automation of our client campaigns and the JustWatch User Acquisition & Branding Campaigns.

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Leadership and development of a growing team of performance marketers & channel experts
  • Audit and constant improvement our campaign setups in order to deliver the best solutions to our clients
  • Responsibility for JustWatch’s branding and paid user acquisition
  • Internal stakeholder management: Collaboration with the Marketing Tech department and the BI team in order to automate our campaign setup and campaign steering
  • Project Management of our automation & tool development
  • Consulting campaign managers regarding all of their requests and innovation projects
  • Pushing the knowledge of the entire team to new levels
  • Structured knowledge sharing (platform updates, new products & test results) with the client teams
  • Integration of new channels & suppliers into our marketing stack

What you need for the role:

  • You are a T-shaped marketing manager with 6+ years of experience in performance marketing, a few spent in a leading position
  • Extensive knowledge & deep understanding of the online advertising ecosystem, you navigate easily within Meta & Google universes and have hands-on experience with their biddable ad buying solutions (such as DV 360, Campaign Manager, Meta Business Manager,...)
  • The proven ability to successfully lead, grow and develop a team of highly driven employees
  • A results-driven, pragmatic mindset focused on solutions
  • Analytical skills and savvy with Excel, knowledge of Power BI or similar marketing analytics tools is a plus
  • Orientation to detail without losing sight of the big picture
  • Structured work style and great project management skills
  • Up to date with the latest industry trends and recent product updates of Google & Meta and the ability to assess their value and impact
  • Great conduct of English, German is a plus

We have started to slowly get back to our new offices at the historic Backfabrik, where we will work in a hybrid mode. If you do not live in Berlin, we provide relocation and visa support.
