At JustWatch (www.justwatch.com), we are striving to become the world’s largest movie and TV show streaming guide, with a goal of over 100 million monthly SEO visits. We are looking for a motivated Junior Frontend Developer with a hands-on mentality to support us in reaching this goal.

Here’s what you will be doing

• Together with our Designer and Head of SEO you’ll be building interesting landing pages and streaming tools to acquire press coverage and new users
• Conducting A/B tests and implement successful tests into our product
• Supporting our expansion plans by launching JustWatch in new countries and improving our presence in existing ones
• Enhancing internal linking, performance and crawlability at scale
• Building internal SEO tools helping us monitoring and optimising a multi-million page's website at scale

What you will need

• 1+ years experience in Frontend development
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript (Typescript is a plus)
• Experience with VueJS (preferred), React or any modern framework
• Ideally some experience with UI/UX design (using tools like Figma)
• Basic understanding of SSR, SEO, SQL, relational databases and D3.js is a plus
• Strong details orientation and intrinsic motivation
• Passion and ambition (big plus if you own a hobby project like a blog, an affiliate-site, app, etc.)
• You like to work in a challenging yet rewarding environment with an open feedback culture
• Fluency in English

We have started to slowly get back to our new offices at the historic Backfabrik, where we will work in a hybrid mode. If you do not live in Berlin, we provide relocation and visa support but are not a remote-only company.
