We seek an experienced Head of Sales & Account Management to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of growing high-performing sales teams in startups, driving revenue growth, and fostering strong customer relationships. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our company's future and drive expansion in our most important market.

Tasks

Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy.
  • Defining clear metrics and sales targets for the account management team.
  • Analyzing market trends, competitive activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.

Team Leadership and Management

  • Ongoing coaching, training and performance feedback to ensure the success and growth of all team members.
  • Fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented culture within the sales team
  • Attracting and developing the best sales talent through effective recruitment, selection and training methods.

Client Relationship Management

  • Understanding customer needs, challenges and goals to effectively position our products and solutions and create value for customers.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the DACH region, including HR leaders, executives and decision makers.
  • Trusted advisor to clients, providing insight, guidance and support to help clients achieve their hiring goals.

Sales Execution and Revenue Growth

  • Implementation of sales initiatives and campaigns to acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.
  • Ownership of sales goals and planning of monthly, quarterly and annual MRRs.
  • Monitoring of sales pipelines, forecast accuracy and sales KPIs to track progress and implement improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-departmental teams, including marketing and product development, to improve revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Maintain and further develop regular reporting to track sales performance, revenue targets and market trends.
  • Data-driven analysis to identify trends, opportunities and challenges, as well as data-based decision making to optimize our sales strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a senior sales role in a fast-scaling startup.
  • 3+ years in B2B SaaS, focused on SMBs and the DACH market.
  • Ability to think strategically and initiate cross-functional sales initiatives.
  • Proven experience building and leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset to improve GTM sales strategy.
  • A “people person” who enjoys mentoring, coaching, and motivating the sales team.
  • Very good German and English skills.
