Join our team at as a Airline, Sales, Ticketing & Marketing Officer based at Malta International Airport. We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused individual to promote and sell airline services, manage reservations and ticketing, handle complaints, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Tasks
- Proactively promote and sell routes, fares, and services through telephone, email, face-to-face, and other communication channels.
- Create reservations, arrange ticketing, and manage fare collection as directed.
- Rebook tickets, execute necessary changes, and resolve booking problems.
- Sell ancillaries including merchandise, seats, pet in cabin, gift vouchers, UMNR, and Business Class upgrades.
- Liaise with all outstations to support ticketing and other issues on all flights available.
- Provide support to outstations during check-in and before aircraft departure.
- Quote, book, support, and handle ministerial and presidential bookings.
- Assist with booking requests for passengers requiring medical travel assistance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by promptly solving problems and handling complaints.
- Perform daily reconciliation of credit cards, cash, and invoices, including paperwork sent to accounting/banking sections.
- Compile regular and ad-hoc reports accurately and within stipulated timeframes.
- Stay informed about airline rules, regulations, and current affairs, and communicate relevant information to clients.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
Requirements
- EU passport holder
- Ideally already located in Malta
- Experience in airline sales and services is a must!
- Fluent in English
- Ideally already located in Malta (no relocation package)
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office packages and any GDS system.
- Ability to work under stress while maintaining high productivity.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Aviation experience required (not cabin crew).
Benefits
- Full-time annual salary of €20,000; part-time salary is half.
- Performance bonus of €1,000 based on performance.
- Work schedule includes Monday to Sunday with night shifts.
