What will you do?

You will effectively communicate within an interdisciplinary team including design teams, account management, and clients to complete projects within budget and on time. You will be tasked with creating and maintaining proper workflows and use agile project management methods to increase efficiency.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Support the project lead, ensuring financial success combined with best quality deliveries
• Communicate between all involved in a project within an interdisciplinary team and with the client
• Create project plans, time and cost calculations together with your account lead
• Oversee timelines and budgets for your projects, including track keeping of agreed deliverables
• Inform the Account Manager and / or Linemanager at the earliest convenience if a flag needs to get raised (e.g. Change Request)
• Manage resources on your projects
• Support design and conceptual teams with the topic, especially in the kick-off phase or during complex challenges during the project
• Support and improve internal processes and workflows
• Empower and apply structured and clean working methods
• Structuring and tracking of projects independently or in a team from the project initiation to project completion (including project documentation and file archiving)
• Handling all aspects of project invoicing
• Handling all aspects Freelancers or 3rd-Party on/off-boarding in projects.
• Creation of monthly reports on budgets and project progress.
• Processing of tasks based on existing processes and specifications
• Understanding client requirements and coordinating with the team
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and document that based on internal processes
• Maintain project documentations and internal reporting
• Support the implementation of margin targets
• Focus on profitable project outcome

Who are you?

You are a proven project manager with total control over budgeting, controlling, and project phasing who can be a central delegator within multiple teams. Experience in the automotive industries is not a must but is a plus!

Here’s what we think you need to succeed in this role:

Experience in managing diverse projects

• Degree in business studies or a career changer
• Experience in automotive HMI appreciated
• Experience in UX design to understand design processes is a plus
• Deep understanding of project management processes and tools.
• A structured personality, that can break down complex tasks into ones that the team can handle
• Experienced in taking over coordination for multiple projects.
• Exquisite communication skills: being a diplomat, navigating between client needs and internal requirements and boundaries
• Comfortable dealing with clients
• Well experienced in leading project teams / projects
• Structured and professional way of working on multiple projects in parallel
• Experience with the latest tools and methodologies in project management
• Team player
