Our client enjoys an excellent reputation among industry insiders; as a "hidden champion", it is the world market leader in its business segment. Its innovative products are used in various high-tech applications and are experiencing rapidly increasing demand. The high growth rate requires new accents, especially in purchasing - your chance!

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be familiar with global sourcing and will set up your team strategically and operationally accordingly:

• Worldwide purchasing of volatile special metals, other raw materials and supplies, operating materials, spare parts and energy
• Purchasing of services (incl. conclusion of maintenance contracts) as well as software (license and maintenance contracts) and capital goods (according to specifications)
• Cooperation with companies in external manufacturing and finishing (international)

As an entrepreneurial, internationally operating purchasing manager with experience from medium-sized industrial companies (e.g. process industry), you know where to pull the levers, also with regard to the conclusion of framework or call-off agreements and the establishment of consignment stocks. Essential basics of your profile are:

• Successfully completed studies in engineering/science or business administration
• Business fluent in German and English
• High software affinity, practiced handling of Excel (Pivot), database queries, ERP system
• Strong leadership skills and a high level of intercultural competence
