The Data Center and Networking Organization designs, implements, and operates a state-of-the-art Information Systems Infrastructure serving around 110,000 employees, in over 900 locations across 65 plus countries. We work with the latest and emerging technologies to deliver scalable, high-performing, always available infrastructure services around the world. We deliver services that connect, host, virtualize, store, collaborate, integrate, compute, and transact business solutions that utilize cloud-first, automation, analytics, “as a Service”, BIG data and software-defined. The DevOps Engineer within the Network Connectivity & Architecture team is a key role in the delivery and support of global network solutions that are secure, compliant, and agile across all Honeywell sites worldwide. The DevOps Engineer will be part of a global team of network automation experts in driving, developing, and implementing network automation solutions and services that ensure reliable business outcomes, consistent network delivery, increased network availability, and accelerated problem resolution.

• Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc,
• Perform project tasks and solve problems with little or no assistance and guidance
• Work as part of cross-functional team developing and implementing automation solutions
• Integration of multiple software systems using REST APIs

• Experience in building multithreading and multiprocess solutions
• Advance knowledge of Python 3
• Knowledge of writing restful APIs
• Experience with web frameworks like FastAPI, Djanjo
• Curiosity with a willingness to experiment, mentor and learn
• 1+ years of professional experience with Infrastructure as Code in Networking infrastructure in general is an advantage.
• 1+ years infrastructure experience in leveraging Application Programmable Interfaces and Python Scripting (SOAP, WSDL, NETCONF, REST, YANG, XML, JSON) is an advantage
